What Causes Uneven Wear on European Cars
Alignment Out of Specification
European multi-link suspensions are adjustable front and rear. A pothole, a curb or normal settling can move toe or camber out of specification. We measure all four wheels on our professional alignment equipment against the factory numbers for your model.
Worn Suspension and Steering Parts
Control arm bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends let the wheel angles shift as they wear. Front control arm bushings are a common wear item on many BMW and Mercedes-Benz models, and we check them on every tire wear inspection.
Incorrect Tire Pressure
Florida heat changes tire pressure through the day. We set pressures cold to the values on your vehicle placard.
Shocks, Struts and Air Suspension
Weak dampers cause cupping, and a leaking air suspension can make the car sit unevenly, which changes alignment angles. We inspect both.
